CANCELLATION NOTICE for the regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Board on June 21, 2022.

• The June 21st meeting is cancelled for conflicts of attendance.
• A public hearing for PB22-08: 87 N. Chestnut, (Special Use Permit) will be rescheduled.
• The next meeting of the Planning Board is scheduled for Tuesday, July 5.

Volunteer Boards, Open Meetings, Videoconferencing rules

• At the June 8 meeting of the Village Board of Trustees passed Local Law #1 of 2022 The Village of New Paltz authorizing videoconferencing by the Board of Trustees and all Boards and Committees of the Village of New Paltz
• Please see the full text of the law embedded below. The first section of requirements is copied here:
  • B. REQUIREMENTS FOR MEETINGS OF ANY PUBLIC BODY:
    The following requirements shall be met by any Public Body of the Village of New Paltz:1. Members of the public body shall be physically present at any meeting of such public
    body unless such member is unable to be physically present at any such meeting location
    due to extraordinary circumstances due to
    a. disability;
    b. illness;
    c. caregiving responsibilities;
    d. any other significant or unexpected factor or event which precludes a member’s
    physical attendance at such meeting;
