Free film screening: “Historic Preservation & the Village of New Paltz,” Sunday March 4th
The Historic Preservation Commission is teaming up with Historic Huguenot Street to present a public screening of “Historic Preservation and the Village of New Paltz” on Sunday, March 4th, 2018 at 4:00 pm at Deyo Hall (6 Broadhead Avenue). The event is free and open to the public.

The Village of New Paltz DPW will soon be working to repair another water main break in the area of #3 Henry Court.

The Village of New Paltz DPW is currently working to repair a water main break in the area of #3 Bonticou View Drive.

Watch the HPC’s short 2018 film, “Historic Preservation and the Village of New Paltz,” below.
The video explains the history and principles of architectural preservation and applies them to the local context. It was realized with the help of a state grant from the Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation, and it features the opinions and testimonials of elected officials, commission volunteers, and citizens who have worked with the Commission in the past.
