VILLAGE OF NEW PALTZ NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Special Joint Meeting the Board of Trustees of the Village of New Paltz and the Town Board of the Town of New Paltz will be held on January 23, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. at New Paltz Village Hall, 25 Plattekill Avenue, New Paltz, N.Y.  for the purposes of: 1) discussing Requests for Proposals for the preparation of a Joint Town and Village Comprehensive Master Plan; 2) exploring available cooperative solutions for the provision of potable water to Village and Town residents during the projected New York City Aqueduct shutdown periods; and 3) any other lawful business of the Boards.

The Village and Town of New Paltz will make every effort to assure that the meeting is accessible to persons with disabilities.  Anyone requiring special assistance and/or reasonable accommodations should contact the Village Clerk in advance of the meeting.

Please note the Village of New Paltz has experienced a Water Main Break on January 21, 2015 on Bonticou View Drive.  The DPW is working to fix the break as quickly as possible.  If you have any question please feel free to contact DPW at 845-255-1980.

Village is in the process of repairing a water main break on Henry W Dubois drive between Prospect Street and Church Street.  Any questions or concerns to please contact the DPW at 255-1980.

Offices for the Village of New Paltz will be closed today, Monday, January 12, 2015.  Offices will reopen on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 9:00am.

Please note that Village Hall will be closed on
Wednesday, December 31, 2014,
Thursday, January 1, 2015 and
Friday, January 2, 2015.

Village Hall will reopen on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 9:00am.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of New Paltz will take place on December 30, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at New Paltz Village Hall, 25 Plattekill Avenue, New Paltz N.Y. for the purpose of approving Bills and Claims and any other lawful business of the Village.

The Department of Public Works is working on repairing a water main break on Huguenot Street. All of Huguenot street from Mulberry Street north including Henry Court is affected.

Village Hall will be closed on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 due to inclement weather.  Village Hall will reopen on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. The ZBA meeting Scheduled for December 9, 2014 has been cancelled.
