The Village is working with the Palombo Group and Alfandre Architecture to build a new Fire Station, also known as the East of the Wallkill Emergency Operations Center. It will be located on the corner of Henry W. Dubois and North Putt. The bidding process for contractor services has been completed and notices of awards are being issued. The project is expected to break ground in January of 2021. New Paltz is receiving ~$5 million towards the project from GOSR. The project’s total cost is approximately $6.6 million. We will bond for the ~$1.6 million difference not covered by NY Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery.
