Ever wonder what to do with certain plastic products and packaging that is not accepted in your single-stream or at your local recycling facility? We have solutions!
We are accepting hard-to-recycle items with TerraCycle to be melted and made into plastic pellets as a building material for park benches, picnic tables, flower pots and planters, and more!
We have two programs set up, see below. Check back here often for more recycling programs to be added on! Help us spread the word.
Personal Care Products (all brands)
ACCEPTABLE ITEMS (all EMPTY):
– Mouthwash bottles and caps
– Toothbrushes and packaging
– Toothpaste tubes, caps and packaging
School and Office Products (all brands)ACCEPTABLE ITEMS (all EMPTY/DRY):
– Watercolor paints, trays and packaging
– Glue sticks, caps and packaging
– NO correction fluid such as White-Out
– NO acrylic / oil paints or stains
– NO fluid paint pens
Simply place the above items in the appropriate collection boxes in the 2nd Floor Lobby near the Paint Swap in Village Hall, 25 Plattekill Ave, New Paltz.
Drop off your items Monday – Friday during business hours, unless closed for a holiday or due to inclement weather.
